HIWAR
"HIWAR" meaning "dialogue" in Arabic, is Art Cairo’s carefully curated talk program designed to foster deep, engaging discussions on the narratives, traditions, and evolving dialogues within contemporary Arab art. This series bridges past and future, heritage and innovation, bringing together influential voices from across the region and beyond to explore how Middle Eastern art shapes and reshapes global conversations.
In collaboration with the Grand Egyptian Museum as a Hosting and Collateral Programming partner, "HIWAR" highlights the richness and diversity of the MENA art scene, emphasizing the transformative power of cultural exchange.
Each session features renowned artists, curators, critics, and cultural thought leaders who delve into topics ranging from the relationship between tradition and modernity to the impact of institutions, environmental art practices, and the role of education in shaping tomorrow’s artists. حوار" هو برنامج حواري من إعداد فن القاهرة يهدف إلى إحياء النقاشات العميقة والمثمرة حول السرديات والتقاليد والحوار المتجدد في الفن العربي المعاصر. يقدم هذا البرنامج جسراً بين الماضي والمستقبل، بين التراث والابتكار، حيث يجمع أصواتاً مؤثرة من المنطقة وخارجها لاستكشاف كيف يُعيد الفن العربي صياغة الحوارات العالمية.
